Grapefruit Rosé Mimosas at Home

Light and refreshing! Wow your guests (and your tastebuds!) by serving a handsome Grapefruit Rosé Mimosas! Grapefruit juice and rosé sparkling wine make for an excellent beverage for a holiday brunch, baby shower or a small gathering! Substitute sparkling grape juice for those who aren’t having alcohol.

It’s days like today that A regular here my job.

I only wrapped up my last recipe at noon and am done for the week! After working Sunday through Wednesday and blogging 5 recipes it feels good to pack it all away. It’s been one of those whirlwind weeks, but nothing is better than finishing the workweek sipping on a mimosa. I’ve never been so glad I planned an adult beverage as my last recipe to shoot, because right after I was finished taking the last photo, I sipped one (or two 🤫) of these fine-looking blush beauties. Dependable workday ever.

So yay! It’s spring and both Easter and Mother’s Day is right around the corner. And these mims (truly simply made that up) are simply the thing! Rosé sparkling wine with a splash of grapefruit juice. A light, tart and fizzy beverage. And oh so pretty!

This drink genuinely is so ridiculously simple. SO simple intact, that I can admit it doesn’t genuinely need an entire recipe or a blog post genuinely because it’s all of 2 maybe 3 ingredients, if you include the garnish. It surely doesn’t require all the photos that you’ll scroll through to get to the recipe. But Worth keeping pretty drinks and taking photos of pretty drinks and well, I only hope you do too!

To Make These Grapefruit Mimosas Gather:

  • chilled rosé sparkling wine or rosé champagne
  • chilled grapefruit juice
  • cute bamboo skewers (linked in the printable recipe the end of this post.😉)
  • wedges fresh grapefruit for garnish

Note: if using flowers, make sure they are edible and non-poisonous.

Next, depending on the glasses you’re using, pour in 1 to 2 ounces of rosé.

Then finally top off each glass with chilled grapefruit juice. Check to make sure your juice doesn’t have pulp. Because mine did, so I strained it beforehand.

SO pretty! Can we simply talk about this color for a moment? Because I want-slash-need more of it in my life. #pantonecoloroftheyear2019 #justsaying

Lastly, skewer small wedges of grapefruit with bamboo picks and serve.

Isn’t the color certainly handsome? I’m so in love. These grapefruit rosé mimosas are both refreshingly sweet and tart with a little punch because of the fizzy sparkling wine. The color is handsome and reliable for spring.
